Donald Trump Sweeps More Delegates

More big wins for Trump, although Ohio was won by Kucich. He could clinch the delegate if he wins 60% which is not impossible.

Trump, speaking at his opulent Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, did a version of his usual stump speech. He railed against trade deals and outsourcing, called reporters “disgusting,” professed to be confused about why his poll numbers rose amid a spate of attacks, lambasted the “gross incompetence” of America’s current leaders, promised to “knock the hell” out of Daesh and protect Second Amendment gun rights, and vowed to “win, win, win.”
And the most polarizing front-runner in Republican history called for party unity.
“The fact is, we have to bring our party together,” he said. “We have to bring it together.”

The future of pot

2016 should introduce sweeping changes to Canada's drug laws. Since Trudeau got into power he has signalled many times we are on the brink of change:

People should be allowed to grow weed without police harassment
People 18 and up should be allowed to have 4 ounces per person per month
People should have unlimited access to edibles
Create a low tax base to stifle competition from organized crime
Create grants and free loans for people interested in working in the Cannabis industry

God speed legalization.

Downtown Calgary Loses power due to Transformer Explosion

Darkness envelops sections of downtown as Calgary is hit by an underground transformer fire.

Saturday evening there was an underground fire in the downtown core which resulted in a power outage. The Emergency Operation Centre has been opened and The Calgary Emergency Management Agency is working with Enmax and partners to assess the impact to affected residents and businesses.

There are currently power outages between 5 street SW and 11 street SW and 4 avenue SW and 7 avenue SW. There is also a security perimeter in place staffed by Calgary Police Service between 6 street SW and 11 street SW and 4 avenue SW and 7 avenue SW due to many major intersections currently being without power. While people are allowed in and out of the area within the security perimeter, Calgary Police are in place to ensure public safety.

The image below shows the area of the power outage (outlined in green) and the security perimeter (outlined in pink):
