Trump,
speaking at his opulent Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, did a version of
his usual stump speech. He railed against trade deals and outsourcing,
called reporters “disgusting,” professed to be confused about why his
poll numbers rose amid a spate of attacks, lambasted the “gross
incompetence” of America’s current leaders, promised to “knock the hell”
out of Daesh and protect Second Amendment gun rights, and vowed to
“win, win, win.”
And the most polarizing front-runner in Republican history called for party unity.
“The fact is, we have to bring our party together,” he said. “We have to bring it together.”
